Tatreez Workshop

Join us for a Palestinian Tatreez Workshop hosted by Svbhya, celebrating the art and tradition of Palestinian embroidery. Bring a personal fabric item, like a tote bag or piece of clothing, and learn how to add traditional Tatreez motifs while stitching alongside the community. This intermediate workshop is perfect for those with previous Tatreez experience looking to continue their practice and create something meaningful and uniquely their own.
Tuft Your Cat Workshop
September 6th at 2PM
Join Habibi Bazaar and Houston Humane Society for Tuft Your Cat! Turn your cat into a custom tufted rug during this beginner-friendly workshop, then stick around for a live performance by Marley Moon, with seating available first come, first served. Tickets include all tufting materials, professional rug finishing, and a $30 Cat Vinyl voucher to shop the Big Stretch Vinyl market featuring cat-covered records. BYOB and make an afternoon of it! Plus, 10% of workshop proceeds will be donated to Houston Humane Society. 🐱🧶
