Rug Workshop Design Guidelines
Please follow the instructions below in order to submit your photos at time of booking your rug tufting workshop. Habibi Bazaar reserves the right to decline a design deemed too complicated for a beginner to complete within the allotted time.
Rug design submission guidelines for beginners:
1. Please send 3 images for each person of rugs you would like to create. We will select which we feel is best for a beginner.
2. We do not edit or create images for you - they must be sent exactly how you would like. (i.e., if you want to add an initial in the rug, you will need to add your own initial into the design and send it to us.)
3. Images CANNOT be real life images (including portraits, selfies, pets, or any non-illustrated images); all images must be graphics/illustrations.
4. Must have minimal wording and text (maximum amount of words is 3 (depending on font and size.)
5. If you submit images of other rugs, they must be clear, straight on images (not diagonal or at an angle due to being unable to project it accurately on the projector.)
6. We do not accept multiple characters in one rug (i.e., Lilo + Stitch, Mickey + Minnie, etc. - please pick one character.)
Please keep in mind that this is a beginner level course and it is important to keep design selections to a relatively simple design for the sake of completing your rug within the 4 hour timeframe. We reserve the right to reject any image that we deem is not appropriate for a beginner.
